Personal Profile: A lecturer with over 10 years experience in the field of Biochemistry with speciality in Enzymology/Immunology. Main research interest include: venomics, antivenomics and proteomics. Published both national and international research papers.
Humanitarian support include: Deputy Director (volunteer) at Madrasatul Ihyaai Ulumiddin Islamiyya; Head of Department (Volunteer) of Translation and Transcription, Communication and Procurement of Swift Relief Foundation. Coordinated translations in Hausa, Igbo, Yoruba, Kanuri, Fulfulde, Shuwa Arabic, Babur/Bura, Kibaku, Waha and Mandara/Glavda languages. Facilitated Humanitarian interpretation training for participants, Transcribed audio complaint files (Kanuri/Hausa language). Development of Education Hub for Girls on Science Subjects at Dikwa, Ngala and Kala-Balge Chief Interpreter on a radio (Humanitarian Talks) Organized by UN OCHA. Coordinated the establishment of warer source (boreholes) to Kamceji IDP Host Community in Dikwa Town and Kasuwu Feye IDP Host Community in Dikwa LGA. Participated in the review of the manual “Humanitarian Country Team Community Engagement Strategy and Action Plan for North-East Nigeria” under Accountability to Affected People sector. Member International Society for Toxinology, National Society for Biochemistry and Molecular Biology.
