The Nigerian Society of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology (NSBMB) is pleased to officially announce that Dr. S.I.R. Okoduwa has been appointed Director, Information and Communication Technology of NSBMB.

Dr. Okoduwa is the immediate past national PRO of the society and has equally served as the zonal coordinator, Southwest, of the society. The appointment follows the creation of the Office of the Director of ICT, in NSBMB, during the National Executive Council meeting held on Saturday, 20th July 2024.

As the pioneer Director of ICT, Dr. Okoduwa will be responsible for:

– Developing and implementing ICT strategies to enhance the society’s operations and services
– Leading the ICT Directorate in promoting innovation, research, and education in biochemistry and molecular biology
– Enhancing the society’s online presence and engagement with members, stakeholders, and the scientific community

The NSBMB congratulates Dr. Okoduwa on his well-deserved appointment and looks forward to his innovative contributions to the growth and development of the society.
